ABOUT OUR WORK IN SLOVENIA

Deep Demonstrations are a key part of our strategy and show that fast and large-scale change is possible to accelerate decarbonisation and strengthen resilience in cities, regions, countries and businesses.

Climate-KIC is working in Slovenia to support government’s ambition achieving  decarbonization and circularity under the Deep Demonstration of a Circular, Regenerative and Low Carbon Economy coordinated by both Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy and Ministry of Public Administration. The overall goal of our partnership is to position Slovenia as a European leader in harnessing circularity to transform and decarbonise its economy while fostering a green economy, capturing public imagination with a demonstrable vision of living well sustainably, and designing and promoting the smart and circular transition through a coordinated and coherent national approach based on international best practice.

In nation-wide approach, it brings together a multitude of Slovenian stakeholders, industries, local communities and applies a system-based method to decarbonising Slovenia’s socio-economic system. The programme is about reshaping demand through technological innovation, materials use and business models, sustainable, equitable economic development, education, and policy reform, all based on circular, regenerative economy principles. Until now we have been co-creating transformative pathways in such value chains as: built environment, food, transport & mobility and starting one focused on circularity of the critical raw materials in Slovenia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Designer & Producer role in Slovenia is crucial for the final year of implementation of Climate-KIC’s Deep Demonstration Programme, delivered in partnership with Slovenian government. You will join an existing international team working for the Slovenia Deep Demonstration project in its last year of delivery, while exploring new opportunities for further development of Climate-KIC activities in Slovenia, building partnerships and collaborative climate ambitious projects.

The role involves working with government and local ecosystem stakeholders to design and deliver multiple, connected innovations simultaneously, to test and learn how the country can rapidly advance its transformation towards climate neutrality.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as the Designer & Producer. Your expertise will excel our systems innovation efforts, shape our collaboration and delivery of the Deep Demonstration programme in Slovenia.

You will be part of a vibrant, multicultural team dedicated to accelerating climate action through systems innovation.

·         Workshop design, preparation and facilitation for diverse audience types.
