We have seen unauthorised individuals pose as Climate KIC. They advertise fake roles, often through unsolicited messages, social media or messaging apps. Their aim is to take your money or your personal data.
Beware of recruitment fraud
Please treat any other source with caution. Look out for these warning signs:
Requests for payment at any stage, such as fees for visas, equipment, training or “processing”.
Requests for bank details, ID documents or other sensitive information early in the process.
Emails from free webmail accounts, or from addresses that mimic ours with small changes.
Interviews or job offers sent through WhatsApp, Telegram or similar apps.
Offers made without an application or a proper interview.
Pressure to reply or accept quickly.
If you are unsure, check before you reply.
All genuine vacancies are listed on this page.
Do not click links or open attachments in suspicious messages.
Never send money or personal details to anyone claiming to recruit for us.
Forward the message to recruitment@climate-kic.org so we can look into it.
If you have lost money or shared personal data, contact your local police or relevant national authority.
